Dr. Melissa Bollinger
Dr. Melissa Bollinger is a graduate of Miami University and The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She has practiced optometry for 20+ years, and she has spent the majority of that time educating and managing ophthalmic surgery patients. She has participated in the care of thousands of cataract and refractive surgery patients, and she is an expert in educating patients about the surgical options available.
She has lectured about dry eye disease, cataract and refractive surgery management, and diseases of the eye at various meetings throughout the United States. With her expertise in dry eye management, she has developed and managed dry eye specialty clinics in the Midwest. She served as Adjunct Clinical Professor at Ohio State University, where she educated and mentored future optometric leaders. She was one of the early optometrists to be earn Diplomate status with the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Bollinger uses state of the art treatments for ocular surface diseases, and she is very knowledgeable about the latest treatment & management options available for keratoconus, cataracts, and for patients interested in reducing their dependence on glasses and/or contact lenses.
Dr. Bollinger strives to transfer the many spectacular advances of medical science and technology into quality care for her patients.
